Darren leads the firm’s underwriting and claims function, providing specialist expertise on complex and high-value cases.
He works closely and discreetly with clients to assess medical history and risk, ensuring appropriate positioning with insurers. His long-standing relationships with insurers and reinsurers enable informed early discussions that improve certainty before formal applications are submitted.
Darren brings extensive market experience across insurers, reinsurers and Lloyd’s of London, including serving as Director of Underwriting and Claims at Vitality.
Widely regarded as one of the UK’s most experienced underwriters, he authored the UK underwriting manual on motor racing risks.
