Our volunteering day with Thrive:

Earlier this summer, the JLHO team spent a day volunteering with Thrive, the gardening for health charity.
Thrive uses gardening and time spent in nature to support people living with physical disabilities, ill health and mental health challenges. Its work helps people build confidence, develop skills and improve their health and wellbeing through structured gardening programmes.
Our team spent the day helping with practical work in the gardens and learning more about the impact Thrive has on the people who use its services.
It was an opportunity to step away from the office, work together in a very different environment and contribute to an organisation doing valuable work in the community.
We have put together a short video from the day.
